Background:

I was introduced to golf by my father when I was 12 years old, and have taken lessons over the years to be a competent player. (Although I am a better writer than golfer.) My father told me, "Golf is a lifetime sport that you can pick up at any age." He was right. Through the years I have picked up my clubs and have stored them, due to whatever else was going on in life, but have always gone back to them and the beauty golf courses hold. In the 90's, I had the opportunity to work for Titleist Golf - VP of Golf Club Operations, and, for Director of Putter Design (at that time), Scotty Cameron. I have met many PGA Tour Players, and enjoyed playing on the Titleist Golf Team (after work), along with experiencing the culture in the golf world. As I started my family, I transitioned away from Titleist and worked for First Tee Promotions, a golf travel agency in Southern California. On a trip to Thailand in the year 2000 I met the editor of Golf Vacations Magazine. 20 years later, I am still a contributing travel journalist and photographer for Golf Vacations Magazine, and freelance for several others. I am based in Southern California, and encourage all women to pick up the game of golf. Though trying at times, the game of golf is an individual struggle mind game that will take you through highs and lows. The golf vacation is the recharge needed!
